The Challenge
Client's suite of legal SaaS products gave law firms strong tools for drafting, review, document management, and other core workflows, but Attorneys still had to move between systems manually
Client wanted to create one AI front door into its product ecosystem: a natural language interface that could reach across Client's products and meet lawyers in the tools they already used every day
The product also had to meet enterprise law firm expectations, with granular permissions, firm-specific consent flows, and governance controls administrators could trust
What We Built
V.Two worked with Client's from early product definition through commercial launch to build this product, a context-aware AI assistant for legal professionals
- Agentic Architecture — this product was built on a .NET Core backend with a React frontend, using Semantic Kernel and Azure AI as the agent framework. What began as document Q&A evolved into an agentic platform for natural language queries, document uploads, multi-step legal workflows, integrated tools, and MCP server calls through one conversational interface
- Legal Tool Integrations — this product brings capabilities from multiple Client's product teams into one interface, including document comparison, clause extraction, and risk summaries. Lawyers can trigger these workflows without leaving this product
- Multi-Surface Delivery —this product ships across web, mobile, Outlook, and email, meeting lawyers where they already work instead of asking them to change tools
- Firm-Grade Compliance Controls — Granular feature controls and consent mechanisms were built around law firm governance needs, with configurable permissions and consent flows for enterprise legal clients
- Full-Stack Engineering — V.Two contributed across frontend, backend, architecture, database design, technical specifications, sprint planning, and deployment infrastructure on Kubernetes, Terraform, and Azure CI/CD
