Building a cloud platform for workforce operations

A Client partnered with V.Two to replace fragmented scheduling, payroll, attendance, and expense workflows with one centralized cloud platform for administrators and mobile field workers

The Challenge

Distributed workforce operations often run across disconnected systems: scheduling in one tool, payroll in another, expenses handled through email, and attendance tracked through manual check-ins. That fragmentation creates operational drag, weak data confidence, and extra compliance risk for administrators

This Client needed a centralized platform that could bring those workflows into one system. Administrators needed clear control over teams, schedules, budgets, payroll, and approvals. Field workers needed a mobile product that made it easy to manage their workday without relying on manual processes or back-office follow-up

What We Built

V.Two delivered a cloud-based workforce operations platform covering scheduling, payroll, attendance, expenses, and mobile employee tooling

  • Web Portal for Administrators — Administrators can define job roles, set schedules, manage teams, assign budgets, approve employee profiles, authorize expenses, and handle payroll from one portal, reducing the manual reconciliation created by multi-system workflows
  • Real-Time Geofencing — Geofencing was built into the attendance layer so check-ins could be validated by location. Timesheets are confirmed through location data, reducing manual verification and disputes from unreliable check-in processes
  • Mobile App for Employees (iOS and Android) — Workers get iOS and Android mobile apps for secure profile creation, job applications, shift schedules, location-based check-in and check-out, instant notifications, payment history, work hours, and employment records
